You can minister to the children in several ways.  One way is by volunteering your time on Sunday mornings in the nursery and children's church.  Another is through prayer and encouragement.  You can pray for the children specifically that they would grow up with hearts dedicated to furthering God's kingdom locally and globally.  You can pray that God would preserve and encourage the families at Redeemer, and you can be hands and feet of encouragement to the families you get to know.
