PURPOSE

The Sharing LT (SLT) is responsible to pray for our gospel sharing as a community, to cast vision for our gospel sharing as a community and to oversee the implementation of that vision for gospel sharing in our community.     

PRAYER 

The SLT is constantly asking and praying through these questions: —> How can we more fully share the Christian life together? —> How can we attractively share that life with others who do not know Christ? —> How can we more intentionally love others? 

VISION 

Working under the Team of Church Planters and the Advisory Team and with the various Sharing Ministry Teams, the SLT casts vision for Redeemer’s gospel sharing as a community — to the various Sharing Ministry Teams and to the whole congregation. Thus this group will share Christ together, will learn how to share Christ together and will create avenues for sharing Christ that will permeate all aspects of our life together. 

The SLT has the following oversight and responsibility: —> The SLT gives oversight to each of the Sharing Ministry Teams under its care by teaching and equipping them in Redeemer’s vision for gospel sharing. This occurs in part through a representative structure. The SLT is made up of representative leaders from the Sharing Ministry Teams and has, in turn, representation on the Advisory Team. —> The SLT will assist and hold accountable each of the Sharing Ministry Teams to identify its ministry goals and strategies, to delegate ministry opportunities to a broad range of people, and to follow-up on the successes and failures of its ministry endeavors. —> The SLT will work with the various Sharing Ministry Teams to set their ministry budgets and will interface with the Team of Church Planters, the Advisory Team and the Finance & Budget Ministry Team in setting Redeemer’s budget for each ministry year.
