COMPASSION COALITION ANNOUNCEMENTS:
A big thank you goes out to Two Men & a Truck...not only did they help the disabled gentleman in our community move across town, but they also helped our Furniture Ministry by picking up several donations! The best part of this story is that they weren’t even on our e-mail list! We love it when needs are met because subscribers forward Bulletin Board to others within their circles of influence!

Don’t forget to tune in to Joy 62’s “Drive at Five” on Community Transformation with Grant Standefer on AM 620 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. every Monday afternoon. The guest on Monday, December 1st will be Rebecca Kelly with Great Starts Nursery, a program of Child and Family Tennessee. Tune in to hear about this learning environment that provides developmental instruction and intervention for children 6 weeks to 5 years old who have been exposed to addictions.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
On Monday, December 8th, Drive at Five will feature a Compassion Coalition Fund Raising Telethon from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. on 620 AM. Grant will provide an update on the ministry and encourages callers to ask questions, discuss community transformation, or share their favorite Compassion Coalition stories. We need a few volunteers who will staff the phones at the Compassion Coalition office to receive pledges or donations during this hour. E-mail becca@compassioncoalition.org or call 865-251-1591 x 1 if you want to help out!

Highways & By-Ways Ministry needs a volunteer to transport clothing donations to the services on Thursday nights and stay after the service to hand them out to homeless individuals (security will be present). Throughout the winter, services are held at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Broadway. To learn more, contact Preacher Bob at 865-577-3939 or Ms. Anne at 865-525-2296.

Jeremiah 6:16 says, “Stand at the Crossroads and look…” This verse, in its entirety, captures what the recently opened Crossroads Welcome Center at Knox Area Rescue Ministries is all about. Join the Crossroads ministry team by providing hospitality, offering administrative support, or building relationships with homeless individuals. The lives of the homeless are being changed every day as they seek the help they need from God and others to come to health and wholeness. Contact Victoria Reagan at 865-633-7635 or vreagan@karm.org to learn how you can put your faith to work and experience God’s life changing power in your life too.

KICKO (Knoxville Inner City Kids Outreach, Inc.) invites you to help wrap Christmas presents that will touch the lives of Knoxville's inner city children and youth with the tangible love of God. Please bring rolls of wrapping paper, scissors, and tape to Park West Church (7635 Middlebrook Pike Knoxville, TN 37909) at 10:59 a.m. on Saturday, November 29th. Contact Bill or Janice Clark at 865-523-4956 or kids@kicko.org for details.
