RCKids exists to partner with families by providing a safe place to guide and nurture children for the Kingdom of God. Our mission is to create lifelong followers of Jesus and members of his church by introducing children to the person of Jesus Christ and his gospel. It is our hope and prayer that God, by his spirit, would plant seeds of truth in the hearts of his children here at Redeemer.

  • Every Sunday morning, kids get to participate in safe and formative spaces where they are cared for and taught to believe in and love Jesus through engaging and age-appropriate curriculum.

    Nurseries:

    0-24 months

    2-3 year olds

    Children’s Worship:

    4 year olds - Kindergarteners

    1st & 2nd Graders

  • Children can be checked in at any of the four check-in kiosks located in the nursery hallway and the narthex.

When you check your child in, they will receive a number that will appear on their nametag. There is a corresponding sticker for that number that you will hold on to. If checking in multiple children, they will all have the same number and be listed on your guardian sticker.

You must show this sticker to your child’s teacher in order for us to safely dismiss children.

Nursery-age kids go directly to the classrooms.

Children’s Worship kids will start in the sanctuary with their families for worship and will go to class when dismissed before the sermon.

  • All children attending nurseries and children worship must be checked in. Our check-in system assigns a unique number to each family at the time of check-in. This number is located on both the child’s name tag and on the guardian sticker. This sticker must be shown to the classroom teacher and matched to the child’s nametag so that they can be safely released.

All of our volunteers have been background checked and instructed, and are supervised in conjunction with the church's Child Protection Policy.

    Redeemer's Child Protection Policy

Ours is a well-child ministry meaning that all children attending nurseries and Children’s Worship must be free from communicable diseases and free of fever, unexplained rash, upset stomach, diarrhea, vomiting, crusty or oozing eyes, and respiratory infections for at least 24 hours. (Symptoms of respiratory infection include sore throat, nasal congestion, earache, cough, and white, yellow, or green drainage.) RCKids reserves the right to refuse children who may pose a health risk to others.

  • Thrive, our 3rd-5th grade group, meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30-6:30PM.

Each week, they discuss a question from the New City Catechism and learn where we find the question and answer in the bible, what it means, and what it teaches us about God!

Thrive also meets throughout the semester for special events!

  • Each month, our children’s classes learn a catechism question and corresponding memory verse. We want to invite Redeemer families to use this as a tool at home to learn more about God and his kindness to us.

It is our hope that this will be a tool to help Redeemer’s children know God more, and that God, in his kindness, might use that knowledge to root himself more deeply in their hearts

    April:

Q: What else did God create?

A: God created all things and all his creation was very good.

“And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.” Genesis 1:31

We provide a mother’s room in our lower hall, where you will find a changing table, comfortable seating, and infant essentials, as well as full audio of the worship service.
